Job summary

Global Partner Solutions seeks an Engineering Professional II–V (contract) to support aircraft systems installation by developing and maintaining installation designs for equipment, ducts and supports. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, producible integration within schedule constraints.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or technologist degree) with 2–5 years of relevant experience, and strong CATIA V5/ENOVIA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Technologist degree considered with relevant experience.
• Typically 2 to 5 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review 3D installation layouts, equipment arrangements, routing definitions, supports, assemblies, and detail drawings for assigned aircraft systems (excluding electrical wiring).
• Define physical interfaces, clearances, access requirements, attachment concepts, and installation provisions for equipment, ducts, pipes, tubes, hoses, and related hardware.
• Balance installation requirements with safety, maintainability, manufacturability, assembly considerations, weight, cost, and aircraft zone constraints.
• Coordinate installation definitions with cross-functional teams such as Systems Engineering, Structures, Interiors, Quality, Manufacturing, and Mass Properties.
• Manage spatial integration, resolve clashes, access limitations, and interface discrepancies; support design reviews and certification activities.
• Own assigned design activities from concept to release and mentor less-experienced colleagues on familiar tasks.
