Zusammenfassung

Air Canada is seeking dedicated Structures & Sheet Metal Technicians for its Montreal Maintenance Centre. This permanent full-time role focuses on aircraft structural repairs and modifications, with work governed by engineering specifications and service bulletins.

You will plan, coordinate, perform inspections, and certify repairs on sheet metal and composite components, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with Transport Canada requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Graduated from a Transport Canada approved school in the Structural Program and/or have work experience on aircraft in Sheet Metal and/or Composite work.
• Possess Transport Canada Structures "S" license, or working towards a "S" license and expected to obtain
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle multiple projects
• Be available to work days, evenings or nights including weekends and holidays
• Highly flexible and adaptable
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Motivated and enthusiastic team player
• Ability to pass security clearance and obtain the Transport Canada security card (MOT)
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada at offer time

Aufgaben

• Repair and modify aircraft structures in compliance with engineering specifications, manuals, or drawings
• Carry out and certify sheet metal and composite repairs on aircraft components
• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance work
• Perform inspections and sign off defects to defined standards
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to ATs and other AMEs
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance personnel and ensure safe, efficient workflow
