Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. in Canada is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician to support MAst at CFB Trenton, ON, under the US Government C-17 G3 Sustainment Contract.

You will work under the Lead Structure Technician and report to the onsite Maintenance Manager as part of a cohesive team. The role requires 3+ years in aircraft structures or mechanic work, knowledge of RCAF maintenance practices, and eligibility for Secret Level II clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Aircraft Structures Technician /Aircraft Mechanic, or equivalent to RCAF Level A.
• Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices.
• Must have one of the following: Transport Canada AME license (S/M2) or Military equivalent.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada and eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
• Consent to Canadian Government CGP assessment and comfort with safeguarding controlled goods.
• Eligible to handle US export‑controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems and components per TOs and regs.
• Ensure timely repairs and return aircraft to service per Boeing and RCAF airworthiness standards.
• Meet mandatory and non‑mandatory training requirements.
• Maintain safety culture, First Time Quality, FOD reporting, and escalate risks.
• Collaborate with Quality/Safety Teams to address findings promptly.
• Work as part of a team with MAST and Squadron Maintenance.

Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. Global Technical Operations, Field Operations is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Structures Technician, working out of the CFB Trenton, ON to support Canada Operational & Intermediate (O&I) Level Maintenance Augmentation Support Team (MAST) under the United States Government C-17 G3 Sustainment Contract.

The Aircraft Structures Technician will work directly under the guidance of the Lead Structure Technician and report directly to the onsite Maintenance Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems and components IAW applicable Technical Orders and regulations.
• Ensure timely repairs of maintenance activities ensuring the Customer aircraft is returned to service in a timely manner to the required standard meeting Boeing’s and Royal Canadian Air Force Airworthiness requirements.
• Meet individual training requirements for mandatory and non-mandatory training.
• Complies and Operates within a Safety Culture, First Time Quality, FOD Reporting, advising the Lead/Maintenance Manager of any compliance risk/escapes during Maintenance Operations.
• Works with the Quality/Safety Teams to address occurrences and audit findings in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform within the MAST and Squadron Maintenance as part of a cohesive team, working toward a common goal.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician /Aircraft Mechanic, maintenance release authority (MRA), or equivalent to RCAF Level A.
• Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices.
• Must have knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks and the ability to interpret Technical Orders (TOs).
• Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licensed S/M2 rating or Military equivalent.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada.
• Must be willing and eligible to work on Canadian government and defense-related programs with no restrictions.
• Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
• Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
• Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations and Aircraft Airworthiness Directives.
• Canadian CC177 Globemaster III Type Course via Air Educational and Training Command (AETC)
• Department of Defense/Canadian Armed Forces Airworthiness Program
• Active Secret Level II security clearance..
• Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems.
• Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS), current ERKS at 429 Transport Squadron is the Automated Data Aircraft Management (ADAM) system.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

The ability to work on a Canadian Government Federal Establishment (CFB Trenton) with no restrictions.

Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience. The range for this classification is CAD $95,000.00 - CAD $110,000.00 annually.
