Job summary

Bombardier in Canada is seeking a Professional 2, Engineering - Structures Design Integrator to independently execute defined engineering assignments across the aircraft structure lifecycle, from concept development through detailed definition and production support.

You will coordinate structural definition with stress, materials, processes, systems, and manufacturing, participate in design reviews, and drive design maturity, compliance and change management to ensure safe, efficient airframe

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience in aerospace structural design or related fields.
• Fluent in English (French an asset).
• Proficiency with CATIA V5, ENOVIA and related PLM tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural concepts, 3D models, assemblies and drawings for assigned airframe areas.
• Coordinate structural definition with stress, materials, processes, systems, aerodynamics, interiors and manufacturing.
• Support substantiation, certification activities and production investigations with traceable design definitions.
