As a Jazz Ramp Attendant, you will ensure the safe and timely arrival and departure of aircraft. Your responsibilities include:
- Prepping ground equipment for aircraft arrivals.
- Marshaling aircraft in and out of parking spots.
- Loading and unloading baggage and cargo.
- Communicating with pilots and team members.
- Working with a diverse team and treating all with respect.
- Adhering to safety procedures around aircraft.
- Supporting airline operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, responsibilities include:
- Performing duties safely and in accordance with policies.
- Assisting passengers with disabilities.
- Cleaning and grooming aircraft.
- Operating ground support equipment and vehicles.
- Securing aircraft safety with wheel chocks and weather gear.
- Completing maintenance and safety forms.
- Continuously developing ramp skills.
- Covering shifts and supporting team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bondable with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate ground vehicles and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.
- Previous ramp experience is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset; in some stations, it is a requirement. Please specify on your application if bilingual.
