Key Responsibilities:

The Fueler is primarily responsible for the servicing and refueling of aircraft at airport facilities. Adheres to all standards, procedures ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.

  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment.
  • Perform fueling in safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Use fuel trucks to fuel aircraft.
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Calculating fuel distributions for a variety of aircraft.
  • Driving a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Ensure tasks are performed in accordance with Company and Airline specific procedures and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Class 3 Drivers license with Air Brake Endorsement (training provided).
  • Ability to obtain Restricted Radio Operator Permit for Air.
  • Ability to qualify and hold a Restricted Area Pass.
  • Ability to obtain Airside Vehicle Operator Permit class ‘D’.


Education & Experience:

  • High school education
  • Experience with aircraft and an airport environment is considered and asset.
