Job summary

Airbus in Mirabel, QC is seeking Preflight Mechanics to join the A220 Commercial Aircraft Program. Read drawings, install and repair mechanical components, and perform functional tests to prepare aircraft for flight.

Candidates must hold a DEC/AEC in Aircraft Maintenance or an M2 license with 2 years of recent experience, show autonomy and teamwork, and be fluent in French. Starting wage is $34.62/hour with shift bonuses and a solid benefits package.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and teamwork.
• Good communication skills and French language proficiency.
• Possess DEC/AEC in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Install and repair mechanical components.
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems.
• Maintain mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls.
• Prepare the aircraft for flight and participate in engine tests.
• Implement service bulletin changes per industry standards.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Program (AES).
