Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a 16-month Aircraft Performance Internship in Toronto. You will contribute to generating performance data for Flight Manuals and FMS, validating tools, and analyzing test data while collaborating with an engineering team.

You will learn scripting with Perl/Python/Matlab, and gain hands-on experience with Bombardier aircraft performance knowledge in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 3rd year of engineering (Aerospace) or mechanical engineering with a minimum GPA of B+.
• Proficient in programming (C#, C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab) and Unix environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Generate aircraft performance data for Flight Manuals and DFMS.
• Validate and develop performance software tools.
• Analyze flight test or test rig data for performance assessments.
• Support sales and marketing campaigns with performance analyses.
• Contribute to the development of new/derivative aircraft performance data.
