Summary

The successful candidate will support maintenance activities and undertake aircraft maintenance on several aircraft based in Dorval.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure aircraft are maintained according to manufacturer and company recommendations and regulations;
  2. Communicate with Dispatch / Operations regarding flight information and changes; review aircraft status and advise management of potential downtime affecting schedules;
  3. Evaluate Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters, and SILs;
  4. Prepare quotes for future maintenance for review by the Maintenance Production Manager;
  5. Conduct daily inspections, pre-flight and post-flight activities to ensure airworthiness and on-time departures;
  6. Complete work order entries promptly;
  7. Participate in scheduled heavy maintenance;
  8. Provide AOG support as needed;
  9. Use approved equipment and materials, maintaining high workmanship standards;
  10. Generate maintenance task cards for upcoming activities;
  11. Support administrative activities for the Maintenance Production Manager;
  12. Participate in hangar activities including aircraft movements and equipment maintenance (6S, health and safety, etc.);
  13. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. Completion of all Transport Canada exams;
  2. Valid AME license, category M2, with 5-8 years of experience;
  3. Availability to work shifts during major projects;
  4. Strong troubleshooting skills;
  5. Proficiency with computer systems for aircraft and engine data interrogation and download;
  6. Experience in corporate aviation preferred;
  7. Valid passport required;
  8. Minimum Grade 12 and successful completion of a Transport Canada-approved Aircraft Maintenance Technical training program.
