Job summary

PAL Technical Services is actively seeking candidates for Non-certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Apprentices). You will join our Maintenance, Structures and Avionics teams to support daily line maintenance across Eastern Canada, work closely with senior technicians, and gain hands-on experience on a diverse fleet.

This apprenticeship offers exposure to flight line operations, aircraft modifications, and professional development within PAL Aerospace.

Qualifications

• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent (IC program).
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication, decision-making, troubleshooting, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada, including layover checks, troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements (St. John’s NL; Halifax, NS).
• Support PAL Aerospace Flight Line and Modifications teams in maintenance tasks as required.

• PAL Airlines Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada is largest regional carrier, includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements
  • St. John is, NL
• PAL Aerospace Flight Line: Serving our special mission aircrafts, our teams assist in the success of our airborne ISR services in Canada and abroad.
  • Halifax, NS
• PAL Aerospace Modifications: Full aircraft design, customization and installation services to missionizing aircraft for search and rescue and surveillance operations, to aircraft conversions.
  • St. John is, NL

What We are Looking For:

• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as IC;
  • Transport Canada Accrediation is preferred.
• Previous experience in an aviation role is considered an asset;
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Strong communication, decision-making, troubleshooting, and organization skills.
