Job description

We are currently assisting our client, a leader in helicopter services, in their search for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) M2 for permanent positions in Borden, ON. If you are a skilled professional with experience in Bell-type helicopters, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines, and components.
  • Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Test repaired aircraft systems for proper performance, and perform cleaning and lubricating equipment along with other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Record problems and actions taken.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records of the aircraft.
  • May act as Crew Chief on certain projects.
  • Assist in the instruction and training of apprentices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • Military AVN training on CH-146.
  • Valid Transport Canada AME "M" Type license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on Bell-type helicopters.
  • Type endorsement on Bell 412.
  • Proficient in using electronic and paper-based manuals and navigating vendor data.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards.
