Job summary

FL Technics LLC is seeking a licensed AME for our YUL location in Canada. You will perform line maintenance, sign off checks, and ensure compliance with inspection instructions and directives.

The ideal candidate holds a Transport Canada M2 AME license, has 2+ years of line maintenance experience, and TC-approved ratings for B737, A320, A330, B777, and B787. FAA A&P is a plus; ability to work independently or in a team is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 AME license.
• At least 2 years of licensed AME experience.
• At least 2 years in line maintenance.
• Must hold TC-approved ratings for B737, A320, A330, B777, B787.
• FAA A&P license is a plus.
• Familiar with MPM/MCM manuals and aircraft specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on various aircraft.
• Record and sign off maintenance on forms.
• Coordinate with dispatch; monitor maintenance activities.
• Take tasks as assigned by supervisor or Director of Maintenance.

For this purpose, we are looking for an AME for our location: YUL

YOUR TASKS:

• Perform line maintenance (daily, weekly, and service checks) on various types of aircraft.
• Perform other work on aircraft as specified in applicable inspection instructions, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins, in accordance with accepted practices;
• Ensure that all work is properly recorded and signed on the applicable maintenance check forms;
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and/or Director of Maintenance
• Monitor and schedule maintenance activities and coordinate with the dispatch department, as needed.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Must hold a valid Category M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license issued by Transport Canada.
• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed AME.
• At least 2 years of experience in line maintenance.
• Must hold Transport Canada-approved ratings for the following aircraft types: B737, A320, A330, B777, B787
• An FAA A&P license is a plus
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the MPM and MCM manuals, as well as the aircraft operating specifications and maintenance manuals necessary to perform their duties;
• The candidate must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate initiative, be results-oriented, and strive for continuous improvement.
• Must hold a valid airport security clearance (RAIC), including an airside driver's permit (AVOP) for the relevant airport, or be able to obtain these clearances
• Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule based on the company's needs.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the workplace
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
