Job summary

Wright International Aircraft Maintenance Services Inc. in Canada is seeking qualified AME personnel to perform line maintenance on widebody aircraft on a part-time/on-call basis at YHZ.

You will handle daily/weekly checks and sign off maintenance work in the control forms. Applicants must hold a Transport Canada M2 license with B777/B787/A330/A350 endorsements, have at least 2 years of licensed AME experience, and be capable of obtaining RAIC/AVOP for YHZ.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 license.
• Must hold valid Transport Canada approved endorsements: B777, B787, A330, A350.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed AME and line maintenance experience is an asset.
• Able to obtain RAIC clearance including AVOP for YHZ.
• Must be available for part-time and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on widebody aircraft types on a part-time/on-call basis.
• Record and sign out all work on applicable Maintenance Control forms as required.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and supervisor for maintenance planning and execution.
• Carry out other duties as directed by maintenance leadership.

For this purpose, we are looking for our locations:

YOUR TASKS:

• Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on widebody aircraft types on a part-time/on-call basis
• Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.
• Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
• Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor and or/director of maintenance
• Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 aircraft maintenance engineer license
• Must hold valid Transport Canada approved B777,B787,A330, A350 aircraft endorsements
• Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset.
• Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties.
• Must be able to work independently and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
• Must have or be able to successfully obtain an Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for YHZ airport
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs.
• Must be available for part-time and on-call hours
• Must be able to reliably commute to YHZ airport
