Job summary

A leading aviation company is seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition. Responsibilities include performing sheet metal repairs and adhering to safety policies. The ideal candidate will have completed an approved Aircraft Maintenance course and be able to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance course.
  • Ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out sheet metal repairs to aircraft components.
  • Maintaining the work area in a neat and tidy condition.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Job description

Purpose of Position:

To maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out sheet metal repairs to aircraft components.
  2. Carrying out sheet metal repairs on Company aircraft.
  3. Maintaining the work area in a neat and tidy condition.
  4. Becoming familiar with Transport Canada Company manuals and documents.
  5. Ability to read Structural Repair manual.
  6. Other related duties as assigned.
  7. Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while prioritizing personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance course, Category S.
  • Ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit.
