Position: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Performing work and being ready to sign a Maintenance Release for their work, holding a Transport Canada AME license appropriately rated.
  2. Demonstrating acceptable knowledge of the AMO and its Quality Program, and being issued an ACA Authorization to sign a maintenance release.
  3. Performing maintenance, repair, modification, and certification of aircraft in accordance with approved procedures.
  4. Reporting un-airworthy conditions and utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
  5. Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.
  6. Marshalling, fueling, towing aircraft, and maintaining a clean work area.
  7. Assuming responsibility for work as indicated by signature/stamp.
  8. Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  9. Traveling worldwide to service and repair aircraft as needed.
  10. Completing all training and tasks on time and participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if required.
Qualifications:

Must hold an AME license rated M2 with qualifications on heavy aircraft including engine/airframe interface, environmental control, electrical system, hydraulic system, fuel system, and flight control system.

Eligibility:
  • Eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Canadian government “Reliability” status and/or Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
