We are searching for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for our client located in Fort, Erie, ON.

You will be tasked with assembling, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, ensuring that all processes align with Transport Canada standards. This role includes overseeing the mechanical aspects of installation, conducting inspections, and supporting quality assurance to ensure airworthiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Aircraft Preparation & Assembly: Disassemble aircraft for painting; reassemble and conduct functional checks, including fuel systems, engines, and fluids. Ensure accurate documentation of all checks.
  2. Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections to identify component defects, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Support the Quality Assurance team with inspections for compliance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) standards.
  3. Testing & Delivery Preparation: Perform ground or flight tests, document findings, rectify snags, and prep the aircraft (cleaning, polishing) for delivery to the customer.

Qualifications:

  1. Completion of a Transport Canada-approved Aircraft Maintenance program.
  2. TCCA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed technician in aircraft maintenance.
