Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited in Richmond, BC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Aerospace Department. You will maintain, repair and overhaul aircraft per AMO policies, working with a close-knit team dedicated to safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with piston and turbine engines, strong safety commitment, and flexibility for a 4-on/3-off schedule on a 10.5-hour shift pattern. Ability to travel to other bases may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years heavy maintenance on M1 aircraft (Twin Otter, Otter, Beaver, Cessna 172).
• Clear and proven commitment to safety in line with our Safety First mandate.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a close-knit, team-based environment.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather at water and land bases.
• Piston and turbine engine experience (R985 and PT6) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul aircraft maintained by the AMO.
• Work on Cessna 208B, PC-12, DHC-6 Twin Otter, DHC-3 Otter, DHC-2 Beaver, Robinson helicopters, Kodiak 100, Gippsland single piston, Grumman twin piston.
• Follow maintenance control and maintenance policy manuals.
• Provide guidance and training to Apprentices Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by Crew Chiefs, Coordinators and PRM/DOM.
