Job description

As a licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with one or more years of experience working on large aircraft, you’re looking for an opportunity that leverages your experience and gives you more autonomy! This position supports our UK operations with rotations of 5 weeks on/5 weeks off, including accommodations, flights, and a per diem meal allowance.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance on fleet aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with applicable standards of airworthiness.
  • Troubleshoot faulty systems.
  • Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.
  • Maintain spares packages through communication with the stores department.
  • Maintain aircraft records using computerized maintenance tracking systems.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all required paperwork.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of licensed AME experience, preferably with larger aircraft.
  • Possess Transport Canada AME License M1.
  • Experience with D228 or SC-7 Skyvan is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Proven leadership, observational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Conditions:
  • This position supports UK operations with a rotation of 5 weeks on/5 weeks off, including travel, accommodations, and a meal per diem.
