Jazz is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Structures) passionate about safety and customer service to join our award-winning team!

Purpose of Position

To maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition and perform maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out and certify structural repairs to aircraft components.
  • Perform and certify structural repairs on company aircraft.
  • Report issues affecting aircraft serviceability to Maintenance Crew Chief and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure maintenance complies with company and Transport Canada regulations.
  • Attend training courses as directed.
  • Read structural repair manuals and manufacturer repair diagrams.
  • Perform duties following policies and procedures, prioritizing safety.
  • Maintain a tidy work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid Transport Canada AME license Category S.
  • Experience with Heavy Maintenance on E175, Q400, and/or CRJ aircraft is an asset.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Ability to obtain an Airport Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP).
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to handle a wide scope of projects and tasks.
  • Willingness to undergo ongoing training.

  • Positions are unionized; pay scales are outlined in the collective agreement.
  • Pay scales are competitive and increase annually.
  • AMEs qualify for a Technical Premium paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.
