Job description

TITLE: Production Manager.

REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance Operations.

LOCATION: Thompson MB.

STATUS: Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  1. 5 years supervisor experience.
  2. M1/M2.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Experience on DASH 8, ATR 42/72 and King Airs an asset.
  5. Driver's license.
  6. Flexible work schedule required.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Responsible for communicating daily with customers and coordinating manpower, tooling, and parts to ensure requested maintenance is completed.
  2. Reschedule any customer requested maintenance with the customer that was not completed.
  3. May be delegated to carry out functions for the Director of Maintenance in his absence.
  4. Assisting with and supporting all policies and procedures regarding the Alliance Maintenance Services SMS Program, as outlined in MPM Section 8.
  5. Assisting in Quality Assurance functions as delegated by Director of Maintenance and Director of Quality, Safety and Training.
  6. Maintaining and carrying out Training duties delegated by the Director of Quality, Safety and Training.
  7. Ensuring all procedures for recording and submitting Service Difficulty Reports is carried out in accordance with CAR 521, Division IX.
  8. Assist with all major modifications and repairs and ensure documentation post-mod or repair is filed as required.
  9. Responsible for maintaining AMO electronic technical record data, electronic entries in CMMS computer system, forecasting and producing work orders in a timely manner.
  10. Provide management, supervision, and training of assigned personnel.
  11. Maintain the crew schedule.
  12. Maintain the RTLT schedule.
  13. Provide mentorship and supervision to maintenance staff, ensuring that crucial knowledge and workmanship is transferred to them.
  14. Lead by example and be a positive role model for others to follow.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
