Company Description

Skyline Helicopter Technologies specializes in helicopter maintenance, component overhaul, structural repair, avionics installation, parts support, painting and refurbishing. Since its incorporation in 1996, the company has grown steadily due to its reliability and superior quality workmanship. With a team of dedicated long-term engineers and staff, Skyline provides exceptional maintenance and support services. The company is located in Northeastern Ontario, 10 minutes west of Sudbury.

Main responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance on multiple rotary aircraft types in compliance with the standards of airworthiness and the quality requirements of Skyline Helicopter Technologies

• Work as lead AME on aircraft for major inspections and refurbishment projects that include multiple engineers and technicians

• Troubleshoot, test and identify any issues and problems and propose viable solutions

• Ensure the final maintenance release in aircraft logbook has been accomplished in accordance with the regulatory requirements (TC, FAA)

• Complete all maintenance records and documentation as required in the Quantum Software System (work orders, job cards, etc.)

• Collaborate with Technical Records Clerk regarding the completion of work orders

• Assist in training of other staff and Apprentices.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada AME License, Class type M1 or M2

• Minimum 4-5 years experience, with endorsements on AS350 B2/B3

• Experience and/or endorsement on Bell 206, 205, 206, 212, 407, 412 an asset

• Proficient in using electronic-based manuals and capable of navigating vendor data to find necessary information.

• Ability to read and understand maintenance procedures and various schematic diagrams for maintenance troubleshooting and be proficient in the use of computers and diagnostic tools

• Tool handling skills, knowledge on use of correct methods, procedure and techniques

• Work effectively independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Maintain a customer-focused attitude in a demanding, faced-paced environment

• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license G class

• Security background check required

Language requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English mandatory
