Job summary

Execaire Aviation, a leader in private aviation in Canada, seeks a Maintenance Professional to support maintenance activities and sustain airworthiness for aircraft based in Dorval. You will ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations, regulations, and company standards while coordinating with dispatch and operations.

  • Hold a valid Category M2 AME license with 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Experience in business aviation and ability to travel for major projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure aircraft are maintained per manufacturer and company recommendations.
  • Communicate with dispatcher/operations for flight information and modifications.
  • Review aircraft status and inform management of downtime impacting schedules.
  • Evaluate service bulletins, airworthiness directives, service letters and SILs.
  • Prepare quotes for future maintenance; perform daily inspections and pre-/post-flight tasks.
  • Complete work orders and participate in scheduled heavy maintenance.
  • Provide AOG support and ensure proper parts and workmanship.
  • Generate maintenance task cards and assist Maintenance Production Manager.
  • Travel by air when necessary; participate in hangar and facility maintenance activities.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Production Manager or Director of Maintenance.

Summary

The successful candidate will support maintenance activities and undertake maintenance of a number of aircraft based in Dorval

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that aircraft are maintained in accordance with all manufacturer and company recommendations and regulations;
  • Communicate with dispatcher/operations to obtain flight information and modifications.
  • Review aircraft status and inform management of any potential downtime impacting the flight schedule;
  • Evaluate service bulletins, airworthiness directives, service letters and SILs.
  • Preparation of quotes for future maintenance for review by the Maintenance Production Manager Daily inspections, pre- and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures;
  • Complete all work order entries in a timely manner; Participate in scheduled heavy maintenance;
  • Provide AOG support when necessary; Ensure approved equipment and materials are used and a high standard of workmanship is maintained;
  • Generate maintenance task cards in preparation for maintenance activities;
  • Support the Maintenance Production Manager in administrative activities; Travel by air when necessary;
  • Participate in hangar activities such as aircraft movements, equipment maintenance and facility maintenance (6S, Health and Safety etc.)
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Production Manager, Director of Maintenance or other management.
Requirements
  • Must have successfully passed all Transport Canada examinations;
  • Hold a valid Category M2 AME license with 5 to 8 YEARS of experience;
  • Be available to work as required during major projects;
  • Good troubleshooting skills;
  • Computer skills to allow the interrogation and downloading of information from aircraft and their engines using a laptop computer;
  • Previous experience in business aviation;
