The Government of Nova Scotia seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform inspections, repairs, and certifications on their helicopter fleet. Candidates must hold an AME License and have relevant training and experience. Aviation Services is a division of the Department of Natural Resources responsible for providing helicopter support for all provincial government departments and agencies.
About Our Opportunity
Under the general supervision of the Chief Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, carries out daily routine inspections, planned periodic inspections and repairs as well as field repairs to the Province’s helicopter fleet in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR's), recommended practices and procedures established by aircraft manufacturers, power plant manufacturers and Transport Canada.
