A global aircraft maintenance provider is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Halifax to perform line maintenance on various aircraft types. You will carry out maintenance checks as per standards and guidelines, ensuring safety and compliance. A valid Transport Canada M2 license with B777, A320, A330 endorsements is required, along with 2 years of AME experience. POSITION NAME : Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B777, A320, A330 endorsements)
YOUR TASKS :
Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on aircraft types
Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.
Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor / manager.
Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING :
Hold a valid Transport Canada M2 aircraft maintenance engineer license with B777, A320, A330 endorsements
Minimum 2 year of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset.
Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his / her duties.
Applicant must be able to work independently and / or in a team environment and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for any airport is a plus.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to company needs.
