The Fueler is primarily responsible for the fueling and defueling of aircraft at airport facilities. Adheres to all standards and procedures, ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with established protocols.

Main accountabilities include:

• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment.
• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.
• Use fuel trucks and hydrant carts to fuel aircraft.
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
• Calculate fuel distributions for various aircraft.
• Drive a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ensure tasks are performed following company and airline-specific procedures and policies.
• Attend mandatory training as required by the company and airlines.
• Meet station attendance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Valid Class G driver’s license in good standing and required airport security passes.
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Must pass and maintain the D AVOP certification issued by the GTAA (written & practical).
• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliability and dependability.
