Job summary

Air Transat in Montreal is seeking an experienced aircraft avionics technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic systems to keep aircraft in airworthy condition. You will ensure compliance with Transport Canada standards and company directives, working collaboratively with teams across the station.

The role requires a TC-approved avionics diploma, two years of maintenance experience, and the ability to obtain RAIC and restricted area passes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in aircraft avionics from a Transport Canada approved training organization.
• Two years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to acquire a RAIC and an airport restricted area pass.
• Essential bilingualism (English and French).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft electronic systems to keep aircraft in airworthy condition,
• Ensure maintenance and repairs comply with Department of Transport standards,
• Ensure maintenance and repairs comply with company directives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in aircraft avionics from a Transport Canada approved training organization (ATO) with practical credits,
• Experience on A330 and/or A320 family is an asset,
• Two (2) years of aircraft maintenance experience,
• Ability to acquire an RAIC and an airport restricted area pass,
• Team spirit, initiative, autonomy.
• Working in the fuel tank will be a mandatory requirement upon completion of confined space training,
• Ability to work at heights following appropriate training, required,
• Essential bilingualism (English and French)
