Job summary

Aumnitech is seeking a systems engineer to join a global aerospace engineering client in Greater Montreal, QC. You will define architecture for pneumatic systems, write specifications, conduct modelling, and assess performance to support certification.

Responsibilities include managing system interfaces with suppliers, validating requirements, reviewing vendor documents, and preparing test results. Fluency in French and English is required; a strong background in mechanical or aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5–8 years of aerospace engineering experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with DO-160 / MIL-STD-810 and ARP4754A.
• Experience with functional modelling, system performance testing and MBSE or simulation tools.
• Bilingual in French and English (required).

Job description

Aumnitech is hiring for a global aerospace engineering client. This is a full-time role in Greater Montreal, QC, Canada.

What you’ll do:

• Work as a systems engineer on pneumatics: define the system architecture, write specifications and requirements, and run functional modelling and trade studies
• Manage how assigned systems fit together and connect, working with internal teams and suppliers
• Manage requirements, validation and verification
• Review and approve vendor drawings, test procedures, qualification reports and certification documents
• Write up analysis and ground and flight test results, and prepare reports that show certification compliance
• Help build and run test rigs and flight test vehicles
• Help production and in-service teams troubleshoot system problems

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Ideally 5–8 years of aerospace engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamics
• Familiarity with DO-160 / MIL-STD-810 component qualification and ARP4754A
• Experience with functional modelling, system performance testing and MBSE or simulation tools
• Bilingual in French and English (required)
