Job summary

Hatch is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (Process Engineering) to join its Air Pollution Control and Gas Treatment team in Montréal. You will support local and international projects under supervision and develop skills in mass and energy balances, process modeling, and data analysis.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and bilingual fluency in French and English; 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform mass and energy balance calculations and prepare process flow diagrams.
• Conduct site measurements and field data collection.
• Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team, supporting Clean Industrial Technologies projects.
• Participate in the preparation of technical calculations, reports, specifications, and data sheets.
• Analyze data and perform computer-based process modeling.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate closely with client teams.
