Are you passionate about logistics? If so, we have an opportunity for you to develop your skills as an Air & Ocean Import/Export specialist at Core Logistics. They ensure timely, efficient, and compliant entry of goods into the country, acting as a liaison between shippers, customs, and regulatory bodies. In this role, you will ensure a consistently high level of service, profitability, and cost efficiency while adhering to all applicable company and regulatory requirements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Shipment Coordination: Arrange shipments with carriers, verify documents, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Customs Clearance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations and work with brokers for smooth clearance.
  • Quotation Preparation: Provide accurate pricing based on freight rates, duties, and surcharges.
  • Tracking & Monitoring: Track shipments, update stakeholders, and resolve transit issues.
  • Customer Service: Act as the main contact for clients, addressing import/export-related concerns.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Quickly address delays, customs hold, and documentation discrepancies.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience in air and ocean imports logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, customs regulations, and import documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using logistics software and tools (e.g., Cargo Wise, etc.).
  • A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, or a minimum of four years experience.
