Qualifications

In October 2024, PAL Aerospace, Air Borealis and their partner Medavie Health NL were selected as the parties to design, manage and operate integrated ambulance services for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

When minutes can mean the difference between life and death, there is no substitute for an Air Ambulance.
PAL Aerospace is proud to provide Air Ambulance services to our communities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Operating the King Air 350, PAL offers end-to-end solutions including selection and assignment of aircrews, maintenance, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring aircraft and pilots are always available as needed.

To support these critical missions, PAL Aerospace is seeking Captains to join our team in St. John's, NL.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 500 hours multi-engine PIC.
  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License.
  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
  • Have a valid ATPL.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Must hold a current passport at time of hire.
  • Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States.
  • Must have completed a high school diploma.
  • Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and problem solving abilities.
