Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) is seeking an Aide – Traditional Healing Support to join our multidisciplinary team in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Rate of Pay: Annual wage range $43,304 – $58,166. Hourly wage range $23.794 – $31.959

The Aide – Traditional Healing Support is an integral member of the team who will assist our Traditional Healing Practitioner and staff in various programming tasks, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of traditional healing practices and community programs. The candidate will have a respectful understanding of First Nations culture and traditions, and the ability to assist Practitioners, Elders and Medicine People as required. As a member of a multidisciplinary health services team, the Traditional Healing Support Aid will work cooperatively and collaboratively with Traditional Healing Practitioner and the Healing and Wellness Coordinator in the delivery of culturally safe, and integrated care.
Accountability
The Aide – Traditional Healing Support is directly accountable to the Manager – Anishinaabewaadizwin.
