Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced computational biologists and bioinformaticians to help train AI models. You’ll design realistic analysis tasks from your practice, run them through frontier AI systems, and grade the deliverables against a professional standard.

Models can discuss biological data analysis, but cannot yet perform real work: QC an RNA-seq count matrix, prioritize variants, diagnose batch effects, or audit a pipeline. Your judgment will benchmark AI outputs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on biological data analysis.
• Proficient in Python and/or R.
• Deep expertise in at least one listed domain.
• Own end-to-end multi-step analyses and judge results.
• Master’s or PhD completed in eligible regions.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic analysis tasks from your workflows.
• Run tasks through frontier AI agents and grade deliverables.
• Write clear grading rubrics and explain pass/fail.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence (batch effects, wrong tests, etc.).
