Job summary

Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a co-op student to help build AI agents and automation across the business. The role focuses on practical AI-enabled solutions, data workflows, and enterprise tooling.

You will work with Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Databricks, and cross‑functional teams to translate needs into concrete use cases, develop training materials, and support rollout.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a registered Co‑op program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Interest in AI agents, automation, and real-world applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and support AI agents, automation workflows, and AI-powered tools across the business.
  • Translate business needs into practical, AI-enabled solutions.
  • Assist with AI use cases such as analytics, forecasting, compliance, and internal knowledge search.
  • Integrate approved AI tools with systems, data sources, workflows, and docs repositories.
  • Create training materials, process docs, user guides, and adoption resources.
  • Collaborate with departments to deliver high-impact use cases and enterprise AI rollout.
  • Contribute to reusable AI frameworks, prompt patterns, and automation templates.
  • Participate in onboarding and learning with tools like Copilot and Copilot Studio.
  • Use Databricks to support data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help build, test, and support AI agents, automation workflows, and AI‑powered tools used across the business.
  • Translate business needs and department workflows into practical AI‑enabled solutions.
  • Assist with AI use cases such as support, analytics, forecasting, compliance, reporting, internal knowledge search, and chatbot or assistant‑style tools.
  • Integrate approved AI tools with systems, data sources, workflows, and documentation repositories where appropriate.
  • Create training materials, process documentation, user guides, adoption resources, and knowledge‑sharing content.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to deliver high‑impact use cases and support enterprise AI rollout.
  • Contribute to reusable AI frameworks, prompt patterns, workflow templates, and automation practices that can be extended across Rodan.
  • Participate in structured onboarding and learning with tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
  • Use Databricks where appropriate to support data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI‑enabled business use cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a registered Co‑op program and working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related program.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI agents, automation, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts with interest in real‑world applications.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and support multiple departments.
  • Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Awareness of AI governance and responsible AI best practices.
  • Experience or interest in using Databricks for data analysis, reporting, automation, or AI‑enabled workflows is an asset.
Term Details, Compensation & Work Location:
  • Term: September 2026 – December 2026 (4‑month co‑op term)
  • Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity
  • Schedule: 40‑hour work week
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in‑office
  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing Fall 2026 co‑op opportunity
