Position Purpose

The AI Research & Development Analyst is responsible for delivering Info-Tech’s research projects and advisory services to clients, primarily in AI Strategy, Agentic AI Prototyping, AI Development, Workflow Orchestration, Implementation & Integration.

The successful candidate will provide research- and experience-based insights and guidance, helping IT leaders drive measurable results. They will maintain an active pulse on client needs globally, stay current on industry developments, and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional service.

This role involves working closely with Members to design, develop, and refine AI Agents, prototypes, and solutions, including data analysis, agent engineering, LLM workflows, and prototype buildouts. Additionally, the role supports internal AI experimentation and development to enhance Info-Tech’s service delivery.

What You Will Do

Research

  • Interview Subject Matter Experts and review relevant literature to generate insights.
  • Develop frameworks, methodologies, and supporting tools for publication and client use.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to contribute to research agendas.
  • Create practical AI resources like blueprints, prototypes, datasets, and workflows.

Advisory Calls with Clients

  • Lead calls to overview research and advise clients on applying findings.
  • Assist clients in scoping challenges and identify research gaps.
  • Engage with clients to co-create and troubleshoot AI artifacts.

Facilitate Workshops

  • Use research to facilitate client workshops.
  • Collaborate on developing AI tools and services.
  • Collect and compile workshop outputs into final deliverables.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Support

  • Train peers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Provide expertise to other departments and partners.
  • Create and deliver presentations.
  • Lead internal AI capability development, including agent and workflow creation.

Education And Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required, Computer Science preferred.
  • Certifications in AI / ML are valuable.
  • 5-8 years experience, with 2-3 years hands-on AI / ML experience.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and experience with Python, Javascript, Git, Docker, AWS, Azure, LangChain, PyTorch.
  • Experience in client-facing facilitation and building trusted advisor relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside regular hours as needed.
