The AI Research & Development Analyst is responsible for delivering Info-Tech’s research projects and advisory services to clients, mainly in AI Strategy, Agentic AI Prototyping, AI Development, Workflow Orchestration, Implementation & Integration.

The successful candidate will provide research-based insights and guidance to help IT leaders achieve measurable results. They will stay updated on industry developments and maintain an active understanding of client needs, collaborating with the Research Division and organization to deliver excellent service via calls and workshops.

This role involves working closely with Members to design, develop, and refine AI Agents, prototypes, and practical AI solutions, including data analysis, agent engineering, LLM workflows, and prototype creation. The individual will also support internal AI experimentation and development to enhance Info-Tech's service delivery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research

  • Interview Subject Matter Experts, review relevant literature, and generate insights.
  • Develop frameworks, methodologies, tools, and resources for publication and use by Members.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to contribute to the research agenda.
  • Create practical AI resources like blueprints, prototypes, datasets, and workflow templates.

Advisory Calls with Clients

  • Lead calls to overview Info-Tech’s research.
  • Assist Members in applying research to their challenges and projects.
  • Scope concerns, direct to relevant research, and identify research gaps.
  • Help co-create and troubleshoot AI artifacts with Members.

Facilitate Workshops

  • Use research to facilitate activities with Members and their teams.
  • Develop and iterate AI agents, tools, and services during engagements.
  • Collect and compile workshop outputs into final deliverables.
  • Train peers on published research and contribute to team knowledge.
  • Provide expertise and feedback across departments.
  • Design and deliver presentations as needed.
  • Lead internal AI capability building, including agent development and workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or related fields are valued.
  • 5-8 years of experience, with 2-3 years hands-on AI/ML experience within an ML Ops team.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, programming (Python, Javascript), tools (Git, Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), frameworks (LangChain, PyTorch).
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with strong relationship-building skills, especially with management and C-suite.

Travel: Ability to travel periodically for onsite workshops within and outside North America.

Visa: Must be eligible for work visas for cross-border work in North America and globally.

Work Hours: Availability for after-hours work to serve APAC clients.
