Job description

Position Purpose

The AI Research & Development Analyst is responsible for delivering Info-Tech’s research projects and advisory services to clients, focusing on AI Strategy, Agentic AI Prototyping, AI Development, Workflow Orchestration, and Integration.

The successful candidate will provide research-based insights and guidance to help IT leaders achieve measurable results. They will stay informed about industry trends and collaborate with the Research Division and other teams to deliver exceptional service through calls and workshops.

This role involves working closely with Members to design, develop, and refine AI Agents, prototypes, and solutions, including data analysis, agent engineering, LLM workflows, and prototype development. The role also supports internal AI experimentation to enhance Info-Tech’s service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research: Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts, review relevant literature, develop insights, create frameworks, and build tools and resources for publication and Member use.
  2. Advisory Calls with Clients: Lead calls to present research, listen to Member challenges, recommend research-based solutions, scope concerns, and co-create AI artifacts.
  3. Facilitate Workshops: Use research to facilitate activities, develop AI solutions, and compile outputs into final deliverables.
  4. Cross-Departmental Support: Train peers, provide expertise across departments, and deliver presentations. Lead internal AI capability building efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required; Computer Science preferred.
  • Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or related fields are valuable.
  • 5-8 years of total experience, with 2-3 years hands-on AI/ML experience within an ML Ops team.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and experience with:
  • Programming: Python, JavaScript; Tools: Git, Docker; Cloud: AWS, Azure; Frameworks: LangChain, PyTorch.

  • Experience in client-facing presentations and facilitation.
  • Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships, especially with management and C-suite.

Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel periodically, eligibility for work visas, and availability for after-hours work to support APAC clients.
