Job summary

Confiar Services is seeking an experienced AI Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives for Guidewire-based P&C solutions. The role focuses on automated testing, AI-enabled testing approaches, and building robust test strategies for PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

Ideal candidates have hands-on automation, API, database testing, and CI/CD experience, with a focus on AI/GenAI, LLMs, and RAG to enhance test coverage within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Experience with AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-assisted testing.
• Strong automation, API, and database testing capabilities.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test strategies for Guidewire applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and/or Python.
• Test Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Conduct REST/SOAP API testing using Postman.
• Validate backend data with SQL queries.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Apply AI/GenAI techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and support defect resolution.
• Contribute to QA process improvements.

We are seeking an experienced AI Quality Engineer (AI QE) with strong Guidewire and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain experience to support quality engineering, test automation, and AI-enabled testing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter, along with strong automation, API, database, and CI/CD skills. Experience with AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-assisted testing is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test strategies for Guidewire applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and/or Python.
• Test Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as Postman.

• Leverage AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to use AI for test generation, test data creation, defect analysis, and regression optimization.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Analyze defects, troubleshoot failures, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and quality engineering practices.
