Job summary

Ampliwork is seeking a project leader to own end-to-end delivery for a complex AI product initiative, coordinating planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment from discovery to delivery. You will translate client needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while guiding teams across product, design, and engineering.

The role requires 4+ years in software project management with a strong financial services background.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in project management or hybrid role delivering software products.
• Strong background in financial services (asset management, banking, insurance, or regulated workflows).
• Proven ability to gather requirements and turn ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
• Track record of shipping complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication; explain complex topics simply.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, imperfect environments.
• A product portfolio demonstrating shipped products and delivery ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery planning, execution, and tracking for a complex AI product initiative.
• Master requirements by running discovery with clients and teams and translating into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive execution, not just coordination, breaking down problems and unblocking teams.
• Lead client-facing sessions, status updates, and milestone reviews with enterprise financial services clients.
• Make tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scope with a bias toward usable value.
• Partner closely with engineering and design to clarify intent and maintain delivery tight.
• Learn new domains quickly, absorbing tax and regulatory concepts as needed.
