Job summary

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Senior Analyst in Compliance Data & Automation to modernize our programs using data, automation, and AI. You will design and maintain automation scripts, build AI-enabled tools, and work with a fast-paced team ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes autonomy, curiosity about AI, and the ability to translate complex processes into scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, business analytics, information systems, or related field.
• Hands-on Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
• Strong SQL skills to extract, filter, and analyze data from databases.
• Experience building workflows with N8N, Google Apps Script, Zapier, Make, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive, data-intensive compliance tasks and translate into automation opportunities.
• Design, build, test, and maintain scripts, workflows, and automations.
• Prototype and deploy AI capabilities (LLMs, agents, bots) with human oversight and controls.
• Document and hand over tools for long-term maintainability and auditable use.
