Job summary

TD is seeking an AI/ML Platform Engineer in Toronto to deliver enterprise Gen AI capabilities and secure coding assistant solutions. You will collaborate with Cloud Platform engineering, network, security and risk teams to implement self-service automation of AI/ML services while following security controls.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of AI/ML platform experience, strong cloud automation skills, and hands-on work with Azure, Python SDK, Terraform and GitHub Actions.

The perfect candidate will have previous AI / ML cloud experience delivering enterprise solutions within financial services including knowledge of the security and regulatory requirements. The role is focused on AI and ML service enablement along with applying best practices and engineering principles configuring and managing Cloud and Gen AI SaaS Tools.You will work in collaboration with cloud engineering, network, security and risk management to deliver secured Coding Assistant solutions that meet security policies and standards within TD. You will collaborate with developers in our Cloud Platform engineering team and lines of business to implement and continuously improve the framework and tools to support self-service automation of the AI and ML services.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPassionate about Generative AI and Machine LearningAIOps/MLOps mindset enabling services and developing pipelines for managing training models and production models.Collaborate with internal application development teams to leverage AI/ML services to solve business objectivesUnderstand security, risks and mitigations to load data and training models securely into CloudProgramming skills with experience in API and Webhook development using Python, Git Actions and TerraformWrite and use Azure RM and Terraform templatesUnderstand Azure security features (data protection, authentication, RBAC, etc)Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), handling public key and private key certificates in Azure environment for Paas services and applicationsAbility to troubleshoot DNS, Azure connectivity, NSG, routingProficiency in cloud automation using CLI and configuration pipelinesUnderstand concepts related to deploying platform and data analytics via CI/CD pipelineEnsure that all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance controlsDevelop/Consume APIs, SDKs and Webhook for multi-directional integration of cloud orchestration platform with enterprise systems, DevOps Tools and cloud platformsEnable agentic workloads through automation in a multi platform environment.
