Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Learning & Enablement Lead based in Canada.

This role will shape how employees and leaders learn, adopt, and effectively use approved AI tools in their everyday work.
You will design practical learning experiences, workshops, resources, and role-based programs that turn AI concepts into actionable skills.
The position sits at the intersection of learning, enablement, change management, and emerging AI capabilities rather than technical AI engineering.
You will work across HR, Talent, Technology, Legal, Information Security, Communications, and business teams to support responsible AI adoption.
Your work will help employees improve productivity, confidence, and the quality of AI-assisted outputs while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
The role offers significant opportunity to influence enterprise AI capability-building through scalable learning programs and communities of practice.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced learning professional who combines strong instructional design expertise with hands-on knowledge of modern AI tools.

Accountabilities
  • Design and deliver AI learning programs, workshops, office hours, microlearning, manager sessions, learning campaigns, and community-of-practice resources.
  • Build role-based learning pathways in partnership with HR, Talent, and business stakeholders to address evolving AI-related capability needs.
  • Develop practical enablement materials for approved AI platforms such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and similar tools.
  • Create prompt examples, use-case guides, quick-reference resources, job aids, facilitation materials, and reusable AI playbooks for non-technical audiences.
  • Teach employees how to apply AI responsibly to common business activities such as drafting, summarization, analysis, meeting preparation, communications, and learning design.
  • Develop quality checklists and guidance covering AI output accuracy, completeness, usefulness, tone, evidence, source validation, and appropriate next steps.
  • Reinforce human judgment, review, accountability, and responsible use when employees incorporate AI into their work.
  • Partner with stakeholders across HR, Technology, Legal, Information Security, Communications, and business functions to ensure learning content reflects approved AI practices.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions, workshops, peer-learning discussions, and adoption initiatives for employees, managers, and functional teams.
  • Support AI champions, learning ambassadors, and function-specific adoption programs.
  • Track participation, completion, learner feedback, proficiency indicators, and practical adoption signals to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Use learner insights and adoption patterns to continuously improve learning content, resources, and enablement programs.
  • Coordinate learning calendars, program launches, stakeholder inputs, communications, and ongoing adoption activities.
  • Escalate questions concerning AI risk, governance, privacy, security, or prohibited use to the appropriate subject matter experts.
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Enablement, Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering learning programs, workshops, job aids, scalable enablement resources, and role-based learning experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise technology adoption, digital capability-building, change initiatives, or workforce upskilling programs.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
  • Strong practical knowledge of prompt writing, AI output evaluation, responsible AI practices, and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Ability to translate AI concepts into clear, practical resources and teach non-technical audiences how to apply AI effectively.
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and program coordination capabilities.
  • Strong project management discipline, including planning, content development, stakeholder coordination, and execution.
  • Ability to operate independently while remaining aligned with enterprise AI guidance, policies, and stakeholder priorities.
  • Comfortable facilitating both virtual and in-person learning experiences for employees, managers, and functional teams.
  • Ability to synthesize learner and program insights into clear recommendations for HR, Talent, and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in Learning, Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Talent Development, Business, HR, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with AI adoption, digital transformation, change management, workforce upskilling, learning communities, or manager enablement is an asset.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, AI governance, data privacy, or information security principles as they relate to employee learning is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: CAD $100,000–$120,000 annually, with the final offer dependent on location, skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Potential eligibility for a discretionary incentive program.
  • Comprehensive medical and other benefits, subject to full-time employment status.
  • Fully remote work environment within Canada, with the role based in Ontario.
  • Collaborative and inclusive culture that values expertise, curiosity, ownership, and continuous development.
  • Professional growth opportunities through learning, development, and career-focused programs.
  • Opportunities to participate in leadership development, high-potential programs, and experiential learning initiatives.
  • Access to a global professional community and opportunities to collaborate across functions and regions.
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on enterprise AI adoption and how employees work with emerging technologies.
  • Accessibility accommodations are available throughout the recruitment and selection process upon request.
