Job summary

The Themesoft Inc team is seeking a principal AI engineer to lead end-to-end AI initiatives across design, development, testing and production deployment. You will build GenAI/LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search, and guide RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector search and grounding.

You will mentor engineers, review architecture, and collaborate with AI Architects, product owners, business and security teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI

• Lead end-to-end AI engineering from design and development through testing and production deployment.
• Build LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search.
• Develop RAG pipelines covering chunking, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, retrieval, reranking and grounding.
• Build AI agents, tool/function calling, structured outputs and enterprise API integrations.
• Lead code/design reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure production readiness.
• Mentor AI engineers and convert architecture into executable engineering tasks.
• Work closely with AI Architects, Product Owners, business, data, cloud and security teams.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of software engineering/application development experience.
• 3+ years of Azure/cloud-native development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering GenAI/LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience leading engineering teams and taking AI solutions from PoC to enterprise production.
