Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, software engineering, or related areas.
• Strong Snowflake architecture, SQL, data modelling, and performance optimisation.
• Strong Python and SQL development skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and Generative AI application development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing production-grade AI and data pipelines.
• Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, access controls, data governance, and Responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI/ML solutions using Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Develop and productionize RAG applications, enterprise AI assistants, intelligent agents, and natural-language interfaces.
• Leverage LLMs, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, and Snowflake Cortex AI functions.
• Build RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, re-ranking, and prompt engineering.
• Develop scalable AI and data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Integrate structured and unstructured enterprise data into AI workflows.
• Build secure AI solutions aligned with data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI standards.
• Implement GenAI evaluation and monitoring for accuracy, relevance, hallucination, latency, cost, and model quality.
• Take AI prototypes and proof-of-concepts through to production-ready enterprise solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to design, build, and productionize enterprise-grade AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of Snowflake, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on building secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions using trusted enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI/ML solutions using Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Develop and productionize RAG applications, enterprise AI assistants, intelligent agents, and natural-language interfaces.
• Leverage LLMs, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, and Snowflake Cortex AI functions.
• Build RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, re-ranking, and prompt engineering.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL development skills.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and Generative AI application development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience developing production‑grade AI and data pipelines.
• Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, access controls, data governance, and Responsible AI.

Key / Preferred Experience

Candidates should have hands‑on experience with:

• Snowflake Cortex / Cortex AI
• Cortex Search
• Cortex Analyst
• Snowpark
• Microsoft Fabric

Additional experience with scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, MLOps/LLMOps, model evaluation, observability, APIs, microservices, event‑driven architecture, and CI/CD is highly valued.

Experience within highly regulated environments such as utilities, financial services, healthcare, or government is an asset.

Snowflake certifications are considered an asset.
