Job summary

MNP LLP is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and deliver production AI/ML solutions on Azure AI Foundry. You will build and optimize LLM-powered services while ensuring quality, cost and security across advisory and accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• > At least 5 years of professional AI/ML Engineering or development experience.
• > Experience designing and deploying AI-powered applications in Microsoft ecosystem (Azure Foundry / Azure Search).
• > Experience building agentic systems and tool-enabled workflows.
• > Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for agents, RAG systems, and LLM apps.
• > Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize production systems on Azure AI Foundry with focus on quality, reliability, latency and cost.
• Develop internal products transforming advisory and accounting practices.
• Build LLM powered services on Azure AI Foundry.
• Build, evaluate, and improve RAG solutions using Azure AI Search and Document Intelligence.
• Establish evaluation loops including offline evals and human in the loop review.
• Implement guardrails, content safety, and PII protection.
• Integrate AI capabilities across enterprise platforms with secure data use.
• Take ownership from concept to deployment with rapid yet thoughtful execution.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize production systems on Azure AI Foundry, including retrieval systems, agents, and reasoning workflows, with a focus on quality, reliability, latency and cost

• Develop internal products that transform how our advisory and accounting practices work, and how they serve our clients
• Build LLM powered services on Azure AI Foundry
• Build, evaluate, and improve RAG solutions using Azure AI Search and Document Intelligence
• Establish evaluation and error analysis loops, including offline evals, LLM as a judge, and human in the loop review, so system quality is measured rather than assumed
• Implement guardrails, content safety, and PII protection
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into back-end and front-end services, collaborating with software developers to orchestrate inference endpoints, data flows, and responsible AI considerations
• Integrate AI capabilities across enterprise platforms while ensuring secure and compliant use of technology and data
• Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment, balancing rapid innovation with thoughtful execution

Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in an AI/ML Engineering or development role
• Experience designing and deploying AI-powered applications within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Search)
• Prior experience building agentic systems and tool enabled workflows
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for agents, RAG systems, and LLM powered applications
• Practical experience working with LLMs, including model selection, context management, prompt engineering, and understanding the trade-offs between different model architectures and approaches
• Experience with document processing pipelines, turning PDFs, scans, and unstructured text into LLM ready inputs
• Proficiency in Python and solid software engineering fundamentals
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and staying current with emerging technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools
• Familiarity experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) preferred
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices and the ability to iterate quickly in an innovation environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced innovation environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to various audiences
• Microsoft Azure AI certifications or related certifications are considered an asset including AI-102/AI-103, AB-100, and GH-300
