Position Overview

We are seeking an analytical and business-savvy AI Engineer to unlock actionable insights from our vast datasets. In this role, you will focus on deploying, managing, and integrating both traditional machine learning and LLM-based models to solve complex business problems. You will be responsible for operationalizing AI to drive forecasting, classification, and business intelligence, directly impacting strategic decisions and ROI. This is a critical role for a technical expert who is passionate about turning data into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy & Scale ML Models: Operationalize and scale machine learning models (e.g., for forecasting, classification, risk scoring) on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring they are robust and integrated into business workflows.
• Build Insight-Driven Pipelines: Architect and manage data pipelines using BigQuery and Snowflake to process, cleanse, and structure complex datasets for consumption by AI models and BI platforms.
• Integrate AI with BI Systems: Develop the integration layer between AI model outputs (predictions, scores, summaries) and our business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), enabling self-serve analytics for stakeholders.
• Enable LLM-Powered Analytics: Implement and scale solutions that use LLMs for complex data analysis, such as natural language querying of databases, sentiment analysis, and thematic extraction from unstructured text.
• Translate Models into Business Value: Partner with data science and business intelligence teams to ensure model outputs are not only accurate but also interpretable, actionable, and aligned with key performance indicators.
• Maintain Analytical Infrastructure: Ensure the reliability, performance, and governance of the AI systems that power our business insights.

Qualifications and Skills

• Core Technical Expertise (Must-Have):
  • 3-5 years of experience with engineering, AI or LLM’s
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Vertex AI and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in building and deploying AI solutions using LangChain and/or the Google AI Language SDK.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks and platforms, specifically AgentSpace.
  • Strong data integration and warehousing skills using Snowflake.
• Additional Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience integrating with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
  • Understanding of MLOps principles (CI/CD, model monitoring, lifecycle management).
• Business & Operational Skills:
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data-driven insights to tangible business outcomes and ROI.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage technical projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex analytical results into clear, concise business recommendations.
