Job summary

PUSH Media is seeking a Lead Creative Technologist for a 12-14 month contract. You will translate creative ambition into scalable web solutions, manage technical resourcing with Operations, and guide web architecture across projects.

You will collaborate with Creative, Operations, and Client Partnerships to ensure high-quality, innovative web code across mobile and desktop platforms while embracing AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to scope projects and estimate development effort.
• Experience designing web solution architecture to meet client needs.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; comfortable with full-stack support and CMS ecosystems.
• Strong collaboration and communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid source control and delivery practices; enforce repo hygiene and documentation.
• Experience optimizing performance for high-traffic websites and modern responsive design.
• Familiarity with privacy, accessibility, and analytics considerations.
• Experience partnering with client services in an agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical resourcing and capacity planning across internal and contract teams.
• Partner with creative leads to define scope, deliverables, estimates, and risks.
• Define architecture solutions and set implementation patterns and standards.
• Explain feasibility, timelines, constraints to clients in clear terms.
• Set and maintain code quality standards; lead code reviews and Define definition of done.
• Contribute code for high-complexity items when needed to unblock teams.
• Support pitches with technical strategy, resourcing plans, and estimates.
• Review technical delivery to ensure alignment with scope and quality.
• Mentor the team and improve delivery speed and quality.
