Job summary

BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. seeks a Quality & Process Specialist based in Peterborough to support the Fuel Manufacturing Group with QA, process qualification, and continuous improvement aligning with quality and business growth objectives.

You will lead QA programs, participate in change control, and drive data-driven improvements using AI-driven tools while interfacing with regulators and cross-functional teams. A strong QA background and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field or minimum 5 years direct QA experience.
• Knowledge of Canada Labour Code Part II.
• Hands-on problem solver.
• Proficient with MS Office software.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & CSA N299 standards.
• Prior experience in a unionized environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: maintain QA Program Policies & Procedures and oversee training needs.
• Develop training and coordinate delivery per the training program.
• Support QA programs and record-keeping systems and audit readiness.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead committees and interface with regulators and internal teams.
• Support Management of Change for Fuel Assembly and QA compliance.
• Interface across levels and assist QA program software maintenance.
