Job summary

Snaplii Inc. in Etobicoke, ON is seeking an AI-Native Mobile QA Engineer to own the mobile quality process. You will run AI-driven regression suites, claim what to test next, and decide if a release is safe to ship, collaborating daily with developers and support.

You will take over an existing test setup with a handover, then own the app QA, ensuring the flows like sign-up, payments, refunds, and gift card purchases are robust and automated.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on QA experience. Co-op and internship work counts.
• Experience with mobile test automation (Appium, Maestro, Detox, XCUITest or Espresso) or AI-based testing.
• You already use AI tools in your daily work and can show us how.
• You write clearly, and you can explain the same bug to an engineer and to a support agent.
• You are patient with repetitive work and you don’t let a bug go until it is fixed.
• Mandarin and English, professional working proficiency.
• Able to work on-site in Etobicoke, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Test the Snaplii iOS and Android apps before every release, focusing on flows where mistakes cost money: sign-up, login, top-ups, payments, refunds, and gift card purchases and redemptions.
• Use AI tools to write test cases, generate test data, and keep automated suites up to date, and check their output.
• Grow automated mobile tests and decide what to automate next.
• Turn bugs into reports a developer can fix and follow each one until it is closed.
• Reproduce user-reported issues and explain to the support team what happened and when it will be fixed.
