About This Role

We’re looking for an Agentic AI Developer to shape and power the intelligence layer of Vasco. This is an opportunity to help define what an agentic future looks like—where intelligent systems don’t just respond, but guide, act, and unlock possibilities revenue teams didn’t know they had.

At the heart of your work is Gama , our RevOps conversational agent. Gama is being built to actively reduce friction in our customers’ day-to-day work, surfacing critical insights and suggesting next best actions across the Flywheel —our core mental model that helps teams Plan , Execute , and Diagnose their revenue activities. Your mission is to make Gama feel magical, without sacrificing reliability or trust.

This role sits at the intersection of LLMs, software engineering, system design, and product thinking. You’ll collaborate with both our Flywheel and Data squads to build AI that doesn’t just inform—but transforms how revenue teams operate.

You Will Achieve This By

  • Designing and developing multi-agent systems that work seamlessly within Gama, proactively guiding users through their Flywheel cycles.
  • Building and refining retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, leveraging embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering to power intelligent conversations.
  • Ensuring that agentic behaviors are reliable, explainable, and aligned with user intent—always grounded in real data and real outcomes.
  • Partnering with backend and data engineers to ensure clean, trustworthy, and actionable data pipelines—the lifeblood of any intelligent system.
  • Contributing to our decision-making culture by writing ADRs, PDRs, and RFCs that frame tradeoffs clearly and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Rapidly prototyping ideas, integrating user feedback, and iterating with purpose toward solutions that are both innovative and impactful.

What You Need On Day 1 To Be Successful

  • Production-grade engineering chops : Solid programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar—comfortable moving fast without sacrificing quality.
  • Proven LLM expertise : Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered systems that leverage OpenAI, Claude, or open-source models.
  • Agentic systems design : Able to conceptualize and orchestrate agent workflows that feel natural, useful, and reliable.
  • Real-world RAG pipelines : Deep familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, and prompt design in business applications.
  • System thinking mindset : A bias for reversibility, clarity, and simplicity—your designs build trust over time.
  • Collaborative problem-solving : Eager to work with product managers, backend developers, and data engineers to bring AI to life in user-facing products.

It Would Be Great If

  • You’ve worked with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, or Dataform.
  • You’ve explored LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or similar frameworks for building intelligent agents.
  • You’ve experimented with evaluation methodologies for LLMs and agentic behaviors—hallucination testing, accuracy scoring, etc.
  • You’re excited about conversational UX and how agentic interfaces reshape human-computer interaction.
