Job summary

Intact is inviting applications for Artificial Intelligence Developer internships as part of our growing Digital, Data and Tech team in Canada. You will build and test AI products, analyze data, and collaborate in an agile squad while learning cutting-edge platforms.

These internships are full-time (35 hours/week) for Winter 2027 (January–April). Candidates must be enrolled as students and eligible to work in Canada; no prior work experience required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to artificial intelligence, software engineering, computersciences, or related field.
• Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2027 Term (January to April).
• Must be an active student during internship and/or returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027 after internship.
• No Canadian work experience required, but eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI products: write clean code, create small prototypes, and validate your work with unit tests.
• Turn complex data into insights: analyze datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations for the team.
• Collaborate in an agile squad: participate in standups, brainstorm technical solutions, and use Confluence/Jira for collaboration.
• Ship with confidence: document how things work, support deployments, share updates/estimates, and help teammates with production handoffs.
• Stay current on new approaches or opportunities, and bring them to the solutions you design.
• Prepare technical documentation to deploy and support completed systems.
• Provide estimates and status reports as needed.
